That almost sounds like you're doing it without a switch, which (it happens)
might be convenient for what I'm doing in the short term (long term I
actively *want* the HDHR on my network). If so, I'm afraid I'll pepper you
with questions: Are you using a crossover cable, or is the NIC auto-sensing?
The computer's supplying the DHCP, or is AutoIP working well enough? (I see
that HDHR will fall back to AutoIP if it can't find a DHCP.) Or have I just
totally missed the point, and you are indeed using a switch. :-)
