John, if there's any information on ticket #8347 that's required to use 
your script, please include that information on the script's page: 
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/mythcutprojectx .  For example, if it 
requires a certain revision of 0.23-fixes or trunk or ...  Plus, a 
description of the required manual intervention and editing would make 
it much easier for someone to use.
