Hello Everyone,

I have just subscribed to the list again.

The other day my remote control quit working. HUmmmm? I have not done
any upgrades and have the correct settings
set in the mythtvfrontend setup for the remote. But going thru my logs I
found the following error:

tveeprom 2-0050: Huh, no eeprom present (err=-6)?
tveeprom 2-0050: Encountered bad packet header [5c]. Corrupt or not a
Hauppauge eeprom.
ivtv1: Invalid EEPROM

wm8775 2-001b: chip found @ 0x36 (ivtv i2c driver #1)

wm8775 2-001b: I2C: cannot write 000 to register R7

wm8775 2-001b: I2C: cannot write 102 to register R12
wm8775 2-001b: I2C: cannot write 000 to register R13
wm8775 2-001b: I2C: cannot write 1d4 to register R14
wm8775 2-001b: I2C: cannot write 1d4 to register R15

wm8775 2-001b: I2C: cannot write 0a2 to register R18

wm8775 2-001b: I2C: cannot write 07a to register R20
wm8775 2-001b: I2C: cannot write 102 to register R21

Now, I noticed that no /dev/lirc* at all. Therefore somehow my receiver
on the card is borked I guess.

I have 2 PVR-150's in a box running Fedora 11. I use one receiver port
on one card to do my remote that came with
one of the pvr150s.

Both cards are working and recording shows with no problems except no
remote control.

-------------------------------------------------

Im thinking right now, Swap the receiver to the other cards port and
perhaps back in business? Can I get that lucky?

thanks for any input on this problem,
