That was my first concern, but it looks like they will still support conventional X, in "compatibility Mode", at least for 
a while.

Now, where have I heard that phrase before? Sounds pretty Redmond-ish.

Of course nVidia will do whatever Canonical thinks is best with drivers, for free :-))

I worry more and more about Canonical and Ubuntu, they seem to be headed in directions I'm not sure about, like starting 
an online music store. To me this is not what Open Source is all about.
