You can start by deleting the files in whatever directory(s) you
specified for the various fanart/coverart/screenshot/etc storage
groups.  That will remove the images from your system.  But your
videos will still have references in the database pointing to the now
missing files.

To remove the database references do something like the following:
1) Configure mythvideo to NOT automatically download metadata/program info.
2) Run 'chmod a-rwx -R *' in your mythvideo storage group directory(s).
3) Go into mythvideo and scan for files. (they should all disappear)
4) Run 'chmod a+rwx -R *' in your mythvideo storage group directory(s).
5) Go into mythvideo and scan for files. (they should all reappear)
