Are you displaying subtitles? I'm in the UK and was using an ION 330; with
subtitles displayed, I saw both stuttering and loss of sync between video
and audio when using VDPAU. Either turning of subtitles or changing to a
non-VDPAU playback helped a lot (but we need subtitles on as my wife is
deaf).
