Well, I managed to beg borrow some memory to replace into my server so
I could use the server memory in the frontend.

The server memory is only DDR2 667mhz but there are two of them, so 2
@ 667 is better than 1 @ 800... or that was my theory...

it certainly improves it, I can play most hd content with VDPAU
normal, although quickly moving end-titles are jumpy; so I will now
need to go buy 2 sticks of DDR2 800 memory...
