       It's just a stab in the dark,but I had a similar problem..Some 
how a virtual tuner was getting assigned ..I deleted all tuners and when 
I added them again, I made sure under recording options I set Max 
recordings to 1...I have never ran my HDHR tuners under multirec,so I 
have no idea why max recordings was set to 2..
See if that isn't your problem...
