Sorry for not being clear.  I did reference my remote and key name from 
my lircd.conf file when issuing the command.  I have the emitter right 
near the receiver.  I've also tried different orientations. should I see 
any light flash on the transmitter box like it does when using the 
remote(I'm referring to the box attached the the computer not the STB 
I'm trying to control)?
