[mythtv-users] HVR-1250 Not Working as of Ubuntu 10.10 Upgrade

Hi;

FYI, I just upgraded from Ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10. My HVR-1250
tuner doesn't work. 10.10 uses kernel 2.6.35-22 and when the
card is used, kern.log reports BUG: unable to handle kernel
paging request at 0000010100000028...

If I boot up on the old 10.04 kernel 2.6.32-25, the card
works fine (same version of MythTV, trunk 26778.)

There was already an open report at:

although the originator did a fresh install.
