But Nick, I never said anything about wanting to un-encrypt signals or hack them or anything of that nature. 
I only asked if there was a DVB card that COULD pick up the W5 service channels. I would still pay for the darn things, I just don't want to use the crummy old receiver that comes with my subscription.

I understand that but as I said, I've been talking with my provider hoping there might be another solution. If I found one, I would pass it by them to see if there's something that can be done. Never, ever, ever even uttered one iota of doing anything funny :).

As I said, I understand the concerns but it has to be tempered when people are asking legit questions. I'm trying to find something that if existed, would have not only given me what I'm after but would allow me to tell more people about W5. I WANT to have choices. 

I didn't realize this stuff is owned by the same big wigs as everything else though, that's pretty frustrating.
