[mythtv-users] Live TV problem

Hi,
I am having a problem with live TV that I have been unable to fix so far.
I can watch live TV quite reliably normally. The problem only arises if I want 
to continue watching when one program ends and another starts.
At that point frontend goes black for a while and then kicks me off to the 
main menu with the message "Error opening jump program file buffer".
I am including the relevant part of the mythbackend  log at the end.
I just noticed a little more: backend creates the file for the new program.
But the file stays at zero size and backend gives messages like: "Warning:  No 
Input..." and resets bus as long as I am watching the previous program; for 
example if I paused the program and end watching it 10 minutes later, the log 
will be filled with 10 minutes of the warnings and bus resets. 

There is almost a workaround -- if I schedule recording of the next program on 
the same channel that I am watching, the frontend asks me what I want to do 
and switches to the new program. This is not ideal if I have not finished 
watching the previous program but at least I will have the end of that program 
on disk without loosing the start of the next one. 

But of course, it is an imperfect workaround and it only works if I remember 
to schedule the recording of the upcoming program (even if I only want to 
watch but not record it). Can anyone help with a genuine solution?

I have asked a variant of this question before but got no answers, so I am 
trying again.
