Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, this doesn't work because when I manually set ALSA:ladcomp and then do a scan devices it comes back with a not found or unuseable error. If I just manually set the parameters then I don't get sound on TV. I know ladcomp works because I ran it through mplayer.
