I also experience the same behavior when using VDPAU playback profile
on an Aspire Revo 3610 with Mythbuntu 10.10 installed:

================================

At initial startup after the Revo is booted, the video playback using
VDPAU is fine. The error occurs after I exit Mythfrontend and restart
it, most often after using mythtv in a smaller window (800x600 or
similar). When exiting mythtfrontend using a smaller window, there is
an error message stating that 1 thread failed to terminate.

Then, starting mythfrontend in full window and playing recordings
leads to the console output above.
