I have a JVC that writes VC1 files.  I'm not exactly sure (I have not
dug too deeply into it yet) what exactly the codec options it is
using.  All I can say is they play perfect in a bluray player, but I
do not have a machine in the house that plays them smoothly.  I have
not tried to copy any to a revo yet.  I'll try to remember that now
that football season has started back up and I'll be doing some
recording again.  The biggest pain is pulling them off of the slow
sdhc cards  :(
