That isn't present on today's Big Bang here (Toronto) but I've gotten the occasional CBC show with described audio. It didn't occur to me at the time but you might be able to switch to a different audio track (hit the menu key while viewing). On my HD OTA recordings I usually have AC3 and stereo tracks so it's possible there'd be a non-described track in there too.
