[mythtv-users] Timestretch keeps turning off

Hi,
I updated my Myth version (I'm running trunk) on Saturday. After
dealing with the bindings not installing (or at least, figuring out
what the problem is so I can avoid the bindings for now) I finally got
round to watching some of the stuff that's been recording all week...
I watch everything with timestretch enabled (typically at 1.5x but
sometimes faster). Last night we found that timestretch kept turning
off every time it skipped a commercial break or changed the Fill Mode
(I have enabled the automatic fill mode changing option). I don't
recall reading about anyone else reporting similar behaviour...
Also, I have "Sticky Keys" enabled (I think that's the name of it... I
enabled it back in 2002 and have never changed it). I found that when
I would fast-forward through a commercial break (that the flagger
missed) it kept going back to Play mode after about every 30 seconds
of video (it seemed to return to Play for each commercial).
In general fast-forwarding (and rewinding) seemed a lot faster than
they were before... which is great... except it was really hard to
stop at the spot we wanted. I'm wondering whether this problem could
somehow be related to another issue I'm having, where X segfaults a
lot... I'm wondering if somehow my nVidia driver is corrupted or
something... no real evidence to support that idea, though, it's just
a feeling.
Are these problems already known and I managed to miss the
discussions? Or have I managed to screw something else up? :)
I am happy to provide additional information when I get back to the
system, which will be after the weekend. I also want to try updating
to the latest and greatest trunk revision but, unfortunately, my time
is limited and it takes an hour to compile... at which point I usually
have to go do something else.
