In reference to (just) the pathname update operations (which I thought
were just an artifact of using multiple filesystems in a storage group,
with that feature that you can move files around and myth will still
find them) or do you think a corrupt database is to cause for the
occasional detours off into la la land? Recall, the programs are in the
schedule (i.e. database) and show as "going to record" but just don't
for whatever reason.

Do you really think that's a corrupt database problem?

Sure, I will just for the heck of it, if nothing else, but I am
sceptical that this is the cause of this problem.
