As far as what will be available via your HDHR in your area, the
silicon dust website is a good resource:
http://www.silicondust.com/support/channels/
That, matched against the frequency output from the hdhr_config scan
utility, should give you the relevant information to populate the
channels table. You can get the XMLTVID's from the Schedules Direct
website.
In the US, I would caution against investing in a HDPVR:

This is a very slippery slope...
