[mythtv-users] Ubuntu. HDMI sound. OK to remove pulse audio?

I do not control the volume with the pc.  I set all channels to 100%,
use alsactl to save me an asound file that gets read at boot, and use
the tv or amp to control volume.

both alsamixer and amixer will allow you to set the volume though.
