I believe you can make the channel invisible in mythweb under 
settings,channel info (remove the check mark from visible)...I believe I 
read awhile back if you do this, the channel will still display in live 
TV, but will be unavailable to the scheduler...If I'm wrong here, I'm 
sure someone will chime in...
