Recent versions of MythTV have a 'mythffmpeg', built off our internal 
ffmpeg tree, intended as a static target for external utilities to use.  
Recent versions of nuvexport will attempt to use that binary, before 
falling back to whatever version is installed on the system.

MythTV now provides its own set of ebuilds for use with 0.24 and 
developmental 0.25.
