Youre partially right just as i was partially right. Nextstep was based on
bsd but when job's i mean apple bought job's company (i mean next)  they
replaced much of bsd components with freebsd components which in large
swaths of generality removed much of the link to bsd.

Whatever, i am not pretious to this point and my original point of bringing
this up is that apple tv should be easily able to run nfs client and may
have it installed already.
