Jan,

Fantastic!  I have been struggling with upstart problems myself and
despite much searching in man-pages and googling I did not find the
details that would identify upstart events nor the means to
distinguish between multiple instances of an event such as multiple
identical tuners completing their startup activity.

Many thanks!  Now I just need to go to work on solving my problem...
