I'm in the same boat as you. I'm trying SL6 this weekend. I'd prefer CentOS6, but as you, I'm not getting any younger!

I just got it installed a few hours ago.

Nothing to report back yet. Still fussing with my CrystalFontz LCD w/SCAB board trying to get the patches to LCDd to work right.
