Yes, it almost always works just fine for me on 0.24-fixes, with video
that is captured using an HDHR from an OTA source. I have seen it do
exactly what you describe, but only once or twice. Perhaps it's your
settings, or perhaps it's something unique to the source material?

My transcoder settings are as follows:

Autodetect from MPEG2:
   filters: [none]
   lossless: no
   resize: no

Video:
   bitrate: 2500
   max: 2
   min: 15
   max quality: 3

   codec: MPEG-4
   scale bitrate: no
   high-qual: yes
   DCT: no
   4MV: yes
   motion est: no
   threads: 1

Audio:
   codec: MP3
   rate: 48000
   qual: 1
   vol%: 100

However, it downmixes the audio from 5.1 AC3 to Pro Logic 4.1--which is
an issue that has been there for a long time. Why it's so difficult to
have an option to simply pass the audio through unmodified, is beyond me.
