Hello, thanks to Mark I try to disable the WD blocked software.

I try with a Windows XP LiveCD (Hiren Boot) and execute the WDIDLE3
from here (http://support.wdc.com/product/download.asp?groupid=609&sid=113&lang=en)
and this what I get:

I try to plug the drive with a USB-SATA adapter to a netbook and has
the same error.

I am doing something wrong?

I just want to put the hard-drive on standby mode when is not used.
