Well, that's great news - should be easy to fix.

1. Do you have the sound turned all the way up IN mythfrontend?  There
is a volume control internally.
2. Just go to Setup-General and make sure you have your audio out set
correctly.

My hunch is that the volume accidentally got turned down.
