According to the internet you might have better luck with the "correct"
file name extension for MPEG-2 Transport of .mts

no idea, I just saw some tickets wrt Sony DLNA pass by which all hinted
that they need some quircks.
But transcoding to MPEG-2 PS and calling them .mpg might work, too.
