[mythtv-users] Combined BE/FE to stand-alone BE

You could leave your backend as is, even with Frontend software 
installed and just configure the mini to connect to the existing backend 
in the combo be/fe. No reinstalls necessary.  This is assuming that the 
current be/fe is configured to be on the network etc already.  You 
didn't provide much detail of your existing setup.
