I'm going to play around with it more later when I get home.  I don't 
want or need any backend services on that PC.  I'd just like to use it 
as an occassional front end.  I used the mythbuntu control center to 
setup the front end role ONLY (I made sure that "no backend" was 
checked), but I can see how the app won't work if the versions don't match.
