'Easy' is a relative term. *g*

On my Ubuntu 10.04 master BE/FE and slave I went the route of 
blacklisting that useless nouveau swill and installing the nvidia binary.
Mine are extra special since after a kernel upgrade I lose all video... 
tty's and all.
I keep the binary blob in ~/ so I can ssh into the box and run it 
remotely... Then I drag out a keyboard and update the slave from the master.
