Start your 2nd session with a script like this:

export MYTHCONFDIR=~/.mythtv-2 (or whatever name you like)
mythfrontend ... your favorite options ...

You'll end up with another configuration directory. Don't
put MYTHCONFDIR in your .profile or your 'primary' session
won't start using the default .mythtv directory.
