I think you're kinda missing the point. Just because you have a huge computer 
screen does not mean we all have one the same size.

Also, many users will be setting up using only the display screen ie TV. The 
display parameters chosen will reflect what the average user has access to.

Now whether or not the setup screens could be dynamically resized to suit your 
preferences, I don't know. Perhaps you'd like to submit a patch?
