I just hit this same problem myself. I just got a new laptop for my
son and it has Windows on it. I'm not very familiar with Windows
myself. All of my real computers have the zone set to "America/New
York", but I don't see that as an option in Windows. The closest
thing I can set it to is "Eastern Time (US & Canada)". Is there a
simple solution for this?
