Looks like you are getting further than I was. I was unable to get a lock at
all. I think my version of myth (and yours) should be capable of at least
locking to a dvb-s2. However, if scandvb cannot lock, I think there is a
more fundamental issue.
Out of curiosity, what kernel are you running, and which driver set? I am on
2.6.27.41

I tried dvbscan and it didn't work; I had to download and compile scan-s2,
and had success with that instead.
I am using a custom version of 2.6.32 (the customisations are unrelated),
and if I remember correctly I also updated v4l-dvb.

Now upgraded to 2.6.39.1, which apparently includes the updates to the v4l
for the dvb-s2 on my card, and compiled scan-s2, and I can now scan, with
scan-s2
However, even with the modified values, no luck with myth.
And alsa is now messed up too.
