It doesn't break it. It's the default configuration. You'll always
miss recordings when you limit tuners, it's just which recordings
you'll lose. The removing of guide data has the side effect of
disabling the other tuners unless you go though the hassle of setting
up multiple guide sources and other mucking around that is generally
discouraged.

Locking the tuner and making sure that the 'Reschedule higher priority
recordings' is set to the default is the recommended way. You get all
the shows you care about, in the order of highest to lowest care.

There is no breakage with the recommended solution, just a sub optimal
number of recordings of lower priority with a increase in the number
of higher priority shows now.
