[mythtv-users] BBC on MythTV

I am trying to watch the BBC One live stream on MythTV 0.24. I can actually  
bring up the BBC page for BBC One from  
http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone/watchlive on MythBrowser, but the front-end  
crashes immediately once it tries to play the stream. Other flash streams  
like those from YouTube work fine under MythBrowser though. I seem to  
recall reading something about the mythfrontend window resolution being  
behind this, but I don't know what the fix, if any, might be. If anybody  
can throw some light on this it would be appreciated.

Another avenue I am exploring is that described in  
http://hubpages.com/hub/adding-BBC-live-streaming-to-MythTV. I followed the  
instructions therein but when I click in the resulting menu item  
mythfrontend complains to the effect that the XML file used to create the  
menu (called watch_bbc.xml in the link) is incomplete. The link says that  
the approach was developed for an older MythTV version, so maybe that's the  
problem. Again, help on how to get around this would be appreciated.

Finally, I noticed that there is a new plugin called MythNetVision that  
seems to try to address this kind of issues. If anybody in this forum has  
been successful using it on the BBC One live stream I would be grateful if  
they could share their experiences.
