I noticed fairly early on (2-3 years ago) that the EIT data frequently
wasn't as current as the SchedulesDirect data -- very much the opposite
of how one might expect things to function.

So I've completely disabled EIT in favour of a single $20/yr
donation to schedulesdirect.  Easily worth the the lack of frustration,
especially since I don't (and never have) pay anyone for television reception
(no cable, no satellite, no Bhell "fib", etc..).
