And if you were to upgrade to a newer generation vdpau card like the GT220 or GT430 then the image quality is better even than the PS3, both for HD and SD sources, I switched from PS3 to Myth for daily use when I replaced my 9400 with a GT220 and now I have a GT430, which was an additional improvement although very slight.
