[mythtv-users] Win-tv 950-Q firmware version?

Hi -

   I've looked over the wiki page for this device here:  http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-HVR-950Q
There are 2 firmware versions, each seems to be determined with what Linux kernel is running (or used for compilation?).
However, the latest version of the XC5000 firmware seems to be used, even though I'm running the 2.6.28 kernel on my target system, and compiled
it under 2.6.29 kernel.  

Anyone else bumped into this problem, and figured out which correct XC5000 FW to use?
