I don't really have any idea on this. They're different cards,
presumably with different drivers. A linked page in the weblink above
says the changes aren't expected to affect reception 'but if they do, do
a full factory reset' or words to that effect. It's less than a day
since I rescanned my box, but since then no missed recordings. The ones
I missed earlier were from 'Yesterday' and 'ITV4' and I've used both
those today. As I said, on my 0.24-fixes box the scans were painless,
and they were done in a 'window' of less than 30 minutes. 'Full Scans'
can probably get confused if they see more than one transmitter. The
way I suggested should stop that. In the end you've just got to decide
yes or no :-)
