Check the BIOS.
Most systems with an internal video chip allow you to set the RAM to be 
allocated to video, in the BIOS. All of my computers with an internal 
video chipset have this (one Zotac ION, one Asus ION, one Asus Intel).
You should not need any extra memory although it cannot hurt.
BUT NOTE: check to see if you will be forced to buy 4G of memory in 2 
matched 2G sticks. ( I guess that should be $G of memory!) Many boards 
seem to require this for 2-channel interleaved memory access. I have no 
idea if this is so on the Mini.
