[mythtv-users] Problem with signal lock after upgrade to 11.10

I've upgraded from mythbuntu 11.04 to 11.10.

Since the upgrade, I'm experiencing the following problem:

After reboot, it is impossible to watch live TV(DVB-T, using a hauppauge
HVR-1700 pci-e card). Mythtv simply can't get a signal lock.

running dmesg shows the following:

...
...
...
[26420.956502] tda10048_set_if() no default
[26420.956509] tda10048_set_bandwidth() invalid bandwidth
[26420.957324] tda18271_set_params: [1-0060|M] bandwidth not set!
[26421.956500] tda10048_set_if() no default
[26421.956507] tda10048_set_bandwidth() invalid bandwidth
[26421.957321] tda18271_set_params: [1-0060|M] bandwidth not set!
[26422.956499] tda10048_set_if() no default
[26422.956506] tda10048_set_bandwidth() invalid bandwidth
[26422.957320] tda18271_set_params: [1-0060|M] bandwidth not set!
[26423.956493] tda10048_set_if() no default
...
...
...

If I stop the backend and start it again, the problem remains.

However, if I stop the backend, run tzap on one of my channels (using a
channels.conf file), and then start the backend, the problem is fixed.

Why do I get these errors? Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Signal quality is excellent, so this is not the issue.

Thanks,
Idan
