Only about three or so days. But that was my thought too, that the 
subscription update message hadn't been sent. I had the Prime log window 
as well as a VLC viewing instance open while I talked to the tech. I 
didn't see any reset message arrive. The channel just popped on.

What was suspicious was that I had turned in a cable box that same day. 
I thought they had gotten serial numbers mixed up. But the CableCard was 
still showing activated.

In any case, it's working now.
