I wasn't actually suggesting you use XvMC, rather than typically users
running on underpowered VIA systems can't to much at all without it.
Your playback logs actually suggest you have Intel video, rather than
VIA, anyway.
The DVB flag is only needed since the HVR-1950 is a digital tuner. Your
previous PVR-250 was not, so you weren't missing anything by having that
flag disabled.
