Clearly you've never tried to pack a wife and three kids and all their
stuff into a Ferrari.  There are plenty of tasks for which the Ferrari
is not suitable, even ignoring cost.

I think the point here is that this would be a nice front end, if you
can afford it.  Most Ferraris would be terrible front ends.


I find the product feature list here deliberately misleading:

  NVIDIA® 3DTV Play allows you to leverage the 3D processing power of
your GeForce GPU...

  Intel® Sandy Bridge features in its first architecture that both the
GPU and the CPU can be located on the same silicone die, sharing
on-chip cache memory, and hence lowers power consumption but enhance
performance at the same time.

If you're using the NVIDIA GPU, the fact that there is also an Intel
GPU on the CPU doesn't really mean much.
