I have one of these in a test system and it seems to work well on OpenSUSE 11.3 with recent v4l-dvb drivers.

There is also a V6 version of this card available, but I am not quite sure of the status of the drivers for it.

One of the advantages of this card is that you can connect another dual tuner (DVB-S2 or combined DVB-C/DVB-T) to it and get four tuners on one PCIe slot. It also uses way less power than my Wintv nova-S2 and HVR-4000. My combined BE/FE uses about 60-75 watts recording and playing back at the same time.

I also have an Octopus PCIe interface card with one DVB-S2 and one DVB-C/T expansion, but the driver for this one is still very experimental.
