But it can still do multirec whether you add the SD muxes or not. Not
adding the SD channels on the T2 tuner means that you are restricted
to whatever other tuner(s) you have. From the sound of it, you have
enough other tuners that this isn't an issue, but with only one SD
tuner, that's a lot of restriction to put on your scheduler.
The only advantage I can see of your way is that you can guarantee
that SD recordings will never compete for the T2 tuner and so it will
always be available for recording the HD channels. Given how
effective I'm finding the scheduler with just one tuner, I'm not sure
I'd be too worried about that.
