i have transcoded files where the audio and the video go out of sync.
i've viewed the files with mplayer and when the video gets to the end,
it stays on the last image and hangs there while the audio catches up.
 once it does, mplayer exits normally.

does anyone know how i can keep this from happening or, barring that,
does anyone know how i can fix the files?
